Some Good Snacks
Every wonder what to snack on when you get a carb craving? I think there are a number of good choices out there. Here are some of my personal favorites.
Chocolate - the darker the better
Akmak whole grain crackers with nut butter or hummus
Carrots - for the crunch factor
Celery with nut butter - add a few dry raisins or cranberries for ANTS-ON-A-LOG nostalgia
Yogurt - plain with fresh, seasonal fruit
Edamame - organic, non-GMO only please
Nuts - a small handful of walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts
Leftover quinoa with salsa - this is one of my favorite choices for a non-sweet snack
